با ناراحتی صداش رو صاف کرد گفت :
بنجامین صبحانه ات را بخور یک ساعت دیگر باید بریم امتحان بدیم ،
بنجامین قدی کوتاه و صورتی گرد و چشمانی درشت داشت گفت باشه مامان و مثل فنر برگشت روی صندلیاش و شروع کرد به خوردن ،
صدای مشتری ها و بوی قهوه همه فضای رستوران را پر کرده بود ،
مری نگاهی به اطراف انداخت و دید همه دارند در مورد امتحان صحبت میکنند ،
لیوان قهوه رو برداشت تا بخورد که باز نگاهش افتاد به بنجامین ،
داشت مثل آدم بزرگها دهنش رو پاک می کرد ،
باز هم نگران شد ،
با خودش گفت :
اگر بنجامین در امتحان قبول نشه چی؟
و ادامه داد :
آخه این چه تصمیمی بود که گرفتند ، خوب میرفتند رباتها را در بازار میفروختند تا هر کس که می خواهد یکی بخرد ،
مری لیوان قهوه را روی میز گذاشت و به پنجره خیره شد همینطور که انگشتش را به آرامی روی مچ دستش که اسم بنجامین را تاتو کرده بود می کشید ، با خودش گفت :
« باید هر کاری که از دستم برمیآید انجام بدم »
« باید هر طور شده حرفمو بهش بزنم »
« باید کمکش کنم »
یکدفعه بنجامین گفت : مامان تمام کردم
مری به خودش آمد و سرش رو برگردوند به طرف بنجامین و گفت :
پس بلند شو تا بریم
مری رفت به طرف صندوق برای حساب کردن,
و بعد از حساب کردن برگشت تا با بنجامین از رستوران خارج شود
به طرف درب رستوران که نزدیک شد با ناراحتی با خودش با گفت :
اینقدر ذهنم درگیره بنجامینه که نفهمیدم چطور پول صبحانه رو پرداخت کردم ،
از درب رستوران که خارج شدند ، آسمان پر بود از افرادی که با رباتهایشان در حال پرواز بودند ، انگار که از بالای سرشون داشت « تل اسکی » رد میشد،
بنجامین هم مثل همیشه ذوق زده شده بود و پشت سر هم میگفت : مامان میبینی … مامان میبینی ...
مری نگاهی به صورت « بیبی فیسش » انداخت و با خودش گفت :
دیگه طاقت ندارم باید هر طوری که شده انجامش بدم
موبایلش رو در آورد و شروع کرد به تماس گرفتن ،
بعد از چند لحظه گفت : درود مایکل ،
مایکل از پشت تلفن گفت : درود مری ،
مری : خوبی، صبحتبخیر ،
مایکل : صبح شما هم بخیر ،
مری : مایکل غرض از مزاحمت ، میخواستم ببینم تحقیق کردی؟
مایکل : آره ،
مری : یک ساعت دیگه باید بریم برای امتحان , می تونی یه سری به ما بزنی؟
مایکل : باشه قبل از رفتن به سرکار میام پیشتون ،
مری: پس ما دو دقیقه دیگه خونه هستیم ، بدرود ،
مایکل : بدرود ،
مری موبایلش رو که قطع کرد، بنجامین گفت :
دایی مایکل بود ؟
مری گفت : آره ، کلید رو بگیر و درب رو باز کن ، داره میاد پیشمون .
بنجامین درب رو باز کرد و کلید را انداخت روی میز و به سمت اتاقش دوید و گفت : من میرم پلی استیشن بازی کنم ,
مری همینطور که داشت لباسهایش رو آویزون می کرد با صدای بلند گفت :
یک ساعت دیگه باید بریم برای امتحان ، خودت رو خسته نکنی ،
که یک دفعه از پشت سرش مایکل گفت : درود ،
مایکل مردی لاغر بود با سری بزرگ که سرش روی بدنش سنگینی میکرد ،
مری برگشت و گفت : درود لطفاً درب را پشت سرت ببند ، قهوه میخوری؟
مایکل : بله ، سپاس ،
مری رفت به طرف آشپزخانه ،
مایکل هم نشست روی مبلمان وسط حال و موبایلش را گذاشت روی میز ,
مری همینطور که در آشپزخانه مشغول درست کردن قهوه بود گفت :
از هفته پیش که ثبتنام در امتحان آغاز شده ، مردم همه فکر و ذکرشون شده امتحان ،
هرجایی که میری ، دارن از امتحان صحبت میکنند ،
مایکل با لبخندی سرش رو تکون داد و گفت :
آره درسته ،
مری ادامه داد : البته حق هم بهشون میدم ، من خودم هم بدم نمیاد به پاس قبولی در امتحان ، هم یک ربات داشته باشم که کارهایم را انجام بده و هم چهارماه مخارج زندگیم رایگان بشه ،
و لیوان قهوه را به سمت مایکل آورد و گذاشت روی میز و نشست روی مبل کنار پنجره و گفت :
مایکل تو نمیدونی سوالات امتحان پیرامون چیه ؟
چیزی در موردش نشنیدی ؟
مایکل گفت : نه ، چیزی نشنیدم ، و ادامه داد :
نمیدونم چرا افرادی که امتحان دادن ، سوالات رو فاش نمیکنن ، و با کمی مکث گفت :
شاید میترسن به جرم تقلب دستگیر بشن ،
بچه های ۱۲ تا ۱۸ ساله هم اگر بخوان سوالات رو فاش کنند ، مرکز امتحانات ، از طریق برچسب ها و دوربین هایی که روز ثبتنام روشون نصب کردن متوجه میشن ،
برای همینه که هنوز کسی نمیدونه سوالات چیه .
مری خم شد به جلو و به آرامی گفت :
راستی مایکل تحقیق کردی که این چیزهایی که روی بنجامین نصب شده چطور کار میکنه ؟
مایکل گفت :
آره همین دیروز داشتم مقالهای در موردشون میخوندم ،
وادامه داد برچسبهایی که پشت گوشش نصبه فقط جملات امری رو ذخیره میکنه و دوربینهای خیلی ریزی که کنار ابروهاش نصب شده فقط چیزهای نوشتاری را ذخیره ، و به مرکز ارسال میکنه تا هوش مصنوعی تحلیلشون کنه تا ببینند که آیا کسی بهش تقلب رسانده یا نه ،
مری به عقب برگشت و تکیه داد و به فکر فرو رفت ،
مایکل به جلو خم شد و گفت :
برای چی میخواستی اینو بدونی؟
مری گفت : از روز ثبت نام به من گفتند که هر چیزی میخوای به بنجامین بگی و یا هر چیزی رو که میخواهی یادش بدهی ، اعم از پند و اندرز و غیره … باید اول برای ما ارسال کنی ، اگر تایید کردیم ، میتوانید آن را بگوید ، ولی اگر تایید نکردیم و شما بگوید تقلب محسوب میشه .
مری گفت :
تا حالا هر چیزی که براشون فرستادم تایید نکردند ،
و ادامه داد از نگرانی اینکه بنجامین در امتحان قبول نشه ، دارم دیوونه میشم ،
و بغض کرد و ادامه داد : خیلی دوست داره یه ربات داشته باشه ،
بعد از چند ثانیه ابروهاش رو در هم کشید و با عصبانیت گفت :
اگر به جای امتحان دادن ربات ها رو در بازار میفروختند الان یکی براش خریده بودم و انقدر نگرانی نداشتم،
و ادامه داد : از وقتی که مردم سراسر دنیا دانشمند ها رو آوردن سر کار ، هر روز با یک تصمیم عجیب و غریب مواجه هستیم ،
مایکل با تعجب ابروهایش را بالا کشید و به آرامی گفت :
تصمیمات بدی که تا حالا نگرفتن ، میگن انسانها نباید کار جسمی بکنند و نباید کار فکری بکنند ، فقط باید در زندگی لذت ببرند،
بر همین اساس کارهای سخت و زیان آور را دادند به ربات ها و کارهای فکری را هم دادند به هوش مصنوعی ،
همین دو ساعت کار روزانه را هم که داریم انجام میدهیم رو دارن به بهونه امتحان ، برش میدارن ،
بعد با کمی مکث ابروهایش رو درهم کشید و گفت :
فکر کنم دو هفته پیش هدفشون رو از امتحان گرفتن اعلام کردند ، گفتند : بر اساس آخرین تحقیقات علمی « ذهن انسان مثل آب جاری میمونه ، اگه راکد بمونه میگنده » .
مری ابروهایش رو در هم کشید و با قاطعیت گفت :
من هرطور که شده ، میخوام به بنجامین کمک کنم تا در امتحان موفق بشه ،
مایکل بعد از مکثی کوتاه گفت :
حالا چی میخواستی بهش بگی که تایید نکردن ؟
مری با حالتی غمگین گفت :
فقط میخواستم بهش بگم که :
« آدم خوبی باشه و به همه کمک کنه »
چه در امتحان و چه در زندگیش،
مایکل به عقب برگشت و به مبل تکیه داد ،
مری با لحنی آرام، ادامه داد :
« مایکل تو برادر منی و من فقط به تو تونستم اعتماد کنم در ضمن مهندس هوش مصنوعی هم که هستی ، خواهش میکنم ببین می توانی راهی پیدا کنی که من این حرف ها رو به بنجامین بزنم تا آنها نفهمند، »
« خواهش می کنم »
مایکل چند لحظهای به مری خیره شد و دستی توی موهاش کشید و به موبایلش که روی میز بود نگاه کرد ،
و بعد از چند لحظه گفت : شاید بشه یه راهی پیدا کرد ،
بعد به مری نگاه کرد و گفت در حدود ۴ ثانیه میتونی این جملات رو بهش بگی ؟
مری با خوشحالی گفت : آره سعی خودم رو میکنم ،
بعد مایکل ادامه داد منبع انرژی دوربین ها و برچسب هایی که روی بنجامین نصبه ، اینترنته ، که از آنتن وای فای منطقه دریافت میشه ، اگه من اون رو هک کنم ۴ ثانیه طول میکشه تا منبع انرژی بیفته روی آنتن وای فای مرکزی ،
و فقط در این ۴ ثانیه که قطع میشه ، وقت داری که حرفت رو بزنی ،
مری با خوشحالی گفت باشه و ناگهان از جاش بلند شد و ایستاد، همینطور که ایستاده بود با خودش گفت انجامش میدم و شروع کرد به قدم زدن ، همینطور که قدم میزد دستاشو به هم میفشرد و توی ذهنش سریع گفتن جملات رو تمرین میکرد ،
بعد صدای بنجامین زد که بیا کارت دارم ،
بنجامین با ناراحتی از اتاقش اومد بیرون و چشمش به مایکل افتاد و گفت :
درود دایی مایکل ،
مایکل هم سرش را از روی گوشی موبایلش آورد بالا و گفت درود بنجامین ، خوبی ؟
بنجامین هم گفت : سپاس ،
و رو کرد به مری و گفت مامان چه کارم داری ؟
مری گفت : بیا نزدیک من ،
و نشست روی مبل و شانه های بنجامین رو گرفت و به آرامی گفت :
می خواهم در گوشت چیزی رو بگم که توی امتحان به دردت میخوره ،
همینطور که مری شانه هایش را گرفته بود ،
بنجامین با تعجب نگاهش کرد و گفت : خوب بگو ،
مری گفت بگذار هر موقع دایی مایکل گفت شروع کن،
میگم ،
و بعد هر دو به مایکل نگاه کردند ،
مایکل گفت : تقریباً تمامه ، آماده باشید ،
بنجامین دوباره با تعجب نگاهی به مری کرد و بعد هر دو به مایکل چشم دوختند ، یکدفعه مایکل گفت :
سه ، دو ، یک ، حالا
مری سرش رو بردکنار گوش بنجامین و با دو تا دستش سفت بازو هاش رو گرفت که توی این ۴ ثانیه تکون نخوره و حرفی نزنه و بعد سریع گفت :
« در امتحان آدم خوبی باش و به همه کمک کن »
یک دفعه مایکل گفت تمام ، دیگه چیزی نگو.
مری سریع سرش رو عقب کشید ،
تا بنجامین آمد صحبت کنه مری انگشتش رو روی لباش گذاشت و انگشت دست دیگرش را جلوی دماغش گرفت ، به نشانه اینکه سکوت کنه و چیزی نگه ،
مری یه چند لحظه بعد گفت : به خاطر این چیزهایی که بهت نصبه ، حالا برو توی اتاقت ولی خودتو خسته نکن ، چند دقیقه دیگه باید راه بیفتیم ،
گفت باشه و رو کرد به مایکل گفت : خداحافظ و رفت به اتاقش ،
مایکل هم بهش گفت : بسلامت ،
مری رو کرد به مایکل و گفت :
خیلی به من لطف کردی ، امیدوارم که بتونم لطفت رو جبران کنم ،
مایکل هم گفت : خواهش می کنم ، اگه اجازه بدی من برم سرکارم ،
مری تا دم در باهاش رفت و گفت : برای هفته دیگه که امتحان داری آرزوی موفقیت میکنم ،
مایکل گفت : ممنون ،
خداحافظی کردند و مری در رو بست و رفت پشت پنجره به بیرون خیره شد ،
خوشحال بود که توانسته بود به بنجامین کمک کنه ،
یک نفس عمیق کشید و برگشت و رفتم به طرف اتاق بنجامین و درب زد و گفت :
یواش یواش آماده شو تا بریم ،
مری لباسهاش روکه پوشید ، بنجامین هم آماده شده بود،
بنجامین یک شور خاصی داشت معلوم بود خوشحاله از این که میخواد امتحان بده و ربات جایزه بگیره ،
مری و بنجامین از خانه خارج شدند و رفتند به طرف ماشین ، سوار شدند و حرکت کردن به طرف محل امتحان ،
در راه بنجامین داشت از پنجره بغل بیرون را تماشا میکرد ،
مری سرش رو برگردوند و یک نگاهی بهش کرد و بعد باز به جلو خیره شد و گفت :
بنجامین
بنجامین روش رو برگردوند و گفت : بله مامان ،
مری گفت : اون حرفی رو که در گوشت گفتم ، هیچ وقت یادت نره، اگر در امتحان و در زندگی به کارش ببندی موفق میشی ،
با کمی مکث به جلو خیره شد و گفت :چشم مامان ،
مری گفت : باریکلا پسر خوب ،
بنجامین تا درب محل امتحان به جلو نگاه کرد ،
مری در طول مسیر خوشحال بود از اینکه راهی پیدا شد که توانست حرفهایش را به بنجامین بزنه و مرکز متوجه نشه ،
مری و بنجامین رسیدند به محل امتحان ،
رفتند به پارکینگ حدود ۱۰۰ یا ۱۵۰ تا ماشین پارک بود ،
یه جای پارک پیدا کردند و ماشین رو پارک کردند و وارد ساختمان شدند ،
سالن بزرگی بود و پر از صندلی رفتند طرف باجه اطلاعات و شماره شناسایی هایشان را دادند ،
دو عدد شماره به هر کدامشان دادند و گفتند که در سالن تشریف داشته باشید تا یک راهنما بیاید و شما را راهنمایی کند ،
مری و بنجامین رفتند به سالن و روی دو تا صندلی کنار هم نشستند ، حدود ۱۰۰ نفری در سالن انتظار حضور داشتن ،
مری رو کرد به بنجامین گفت :
قرارمون اینه که هر کدوممون زودتر امتحانش تمام شد ، همینجا منتظر بمونه تا نفر بعدی هم تمام کنه،
بنجامین گفت : باشه مامان ،
چندین درب در کنار باجه اطلاعات بود ، از یکی از دربها یک نفر بیرون آمد و خودش را به حاضرین معرفی کرد و توضیحاتی در مورد امتحان داد و گفت شماره ای را که به هرکدام داده شده شماره اتاقکی هست که باید در آن امتحان دهد ،
و از همه خواست تا به سالن امتحان بروند و وارد اتاق هایشان شوند ،
مری و بنجامین بلند شدند و به طرف درب سالن امتحان رفتند ، وارد که شدند سوله بزرگی بود پر از اتاق های کوچک پیش ساخته ، که در هر راهرو حدود ۲۰ اتاقک روبروی هم قرار داشتند ،
اتاقک مری و بنجامین کنار هم قرار داشت ، از هم خداحافظی کردند و وارد اتاق هایشان شدند ،
مری وارد اتاقک شد و درب را بست ،
اتاق کوچکی بود با یک صندلی که جلوی آن یک مانیتور قرار داشت ،
مری رفت و نشست روی صندلی، مانیتور روشن شد و بعد از خوش آمد گویی بازوی رباتیکی که به مانیتور وصل بود به صورت مری نزدیک شد و از چشمش اسکن احراز هویت کرد و اطلاعات مری روی مانیتور نمایان شد و در مانیتور ازش خواسته شد که اگر اطلاعات صحت دارد آن را تایید کند ،
مری دکمه تایید را زد ،
بعد از چند ثانیه شمارش معکوس شروع امتحان آغاز شد ، شمارش معکوس که تمام شد سوالی روی مانیتور به نمایش درآمد نوشته بود :
سوال : « اگر شما قدرتی داشتید که میتوانستید همه بیماران را شفا دهید آیا از همین جا ، همه بیماران را شفا می دادید ؟ »

مری با تعجب دوباره سوال را خواند، با خودش گفت:

مانیتور بعد از چند لحظه پیغامی را نمایان کرد :
« شما در امتحان مردود شدید ،
یک فرصت دیگر به شما داده خواهد شد ،
بعد از یک ساعت می توانید مجددا همین سوال را پاسخ دهید ،
برای مطالعه بیشتر میتوانید به کتابخانه که مجاور سالن انتظارات است مراجعه فرمایید ،
با سپاس »
مری از تعجب شاخ در آورده بود با خودش گفت شاید اشتباهی رخ داده و همین طور که در شوک ناشی از پیغام مانیتور بود ،
در اتاقک بغل بنجامین احراز هویت شده بود و شمارش معکوس در حال اتمام بود ، تمام که شد سوالی روی مانیتور نمایان شد :
سوال : « اگر شما مقداری غذای اضافی داشته باشید و در فاصله چند متری از شما گربه ای دارد به دنبال غذا میگردد ، آیا به طرف گربه می روید و به او غذا دهید ؟ »

بنجامین گیج شده بود و یواش یواش داشت اشک در چشمانش جمع میشد ،
با ناراحتی از روی صندلی بلند شد و از اتاق خارج شد و به سمت سالن انتظارات رفت ،
وارد سالن که شد ، دید مری دارد اسم بالای درب اتاقها را میخواند و همین که مری خواست وارد اتاقی شود ،
بنجامین بلند گفت : مامان
مری برگشت و تا بنجامین را دید خوشحال شد ،
ولی تا صورت ناراحت بنجامین را دید که داره به سمتش میاد لبخند روی لبانش محو شد ،
با خودش گفت : چی شده ؟
نگران شد و لبهایش رو به هم فشرد،
با نگرانی چند قدمی رفت به طرف بنجامین و گفت : امتحان دادی ؟
بنجامین با ناراحتی گفت : آره ،
و کم کم می خواست گریه کنه ،
مری گفت : خوب چی شد ؟
بنجامین بغضشو خورد و با عصبانیت به چشمهای مری نگاه کرد و گفت :
مگه نگفتی اون کارو بکنم ،
مری از حرفهاش گیج شده بود تا اومد به خودش بیاد ، بنجامین یک نگاه سنگینی بهش کرد و سرش را برگرداند و رفت بالای سر درب اتاق را خواند و داخل اتاق شد ،
مری دوزاریش افتاد که اونم قبول نشده ،
چقدر ناراحت شد بیشتر از قبول نشدن خودش از قبول نشدن بنجامین ناراحت شد همین طور که در حال ناراحتی که بود بعد از یک مکث کوتاه رفت داخل اتاق دنبالش ،
وارد که شد ، راهنمای کتابخانه را دید که ایستاده و هر کس که وارد میشه بهش میگه که کجا بشینه ،
مری سرک کشید که بنجامین رو پیدا کنه ،
فرد راهنما اومد طرفش و گفت خانم خواهش میکنم از این طرف و شماره میز و صندلی که باید مینشست را بهش داد ،
همینطور که مری به سمت شماره میزش میرفت ، این طرف و آن طرف را نگاه می کرد تا بنجامین رو ببیند ،
خیلی استرس داشت، با خودش میگفت : کاش میشد با بنجامین صحبت کنم ،
میزش را پیدا کرد و نشست ، ولی مرتب از جاش بلند میشد و به این طرف و آن طرف سرک می کشید تا بنجامین رو ببیند ،
راهنمای کتابخانه آمد له طرفش و گفت : خانم لطفاً بنشینید و آرامش را حفظ کنید ،
مری گفت باشه و نشست روی صندلی ،
آنقدر شلوغ بود که نمیشد بنجامین رو پیدا کند ،
با خودش گفت حتماً یک ساعت دیگه بازم میره برای امتحان دادن ، و خودش را آرام کرد ،
چند دقیقه ای فقط نشسته بود ،
که تصمیم گرفت شروع کند به گشتن و جستجو کردن در اینترنت ،
بعد از دیدن چندین وب سایت و ویدیو ، تکیه داد به صندلی و یه کم به چشماش استراحت داد ،
همینطور که چشماشو بسته بود، با خودش گفت :
وقت زیادی برام نمونده ، باید آخرین تلاشم رو بکنم شاید به یه جوابی رسیدم ،
چشمهاشو باز کرد و در جای جستجوی ویدیو کلید واژههای « کمک گرفتن» + « شفا دادن » + « قدرت داشتن» + « چرا کسی را نباید شفا داد » رو تایپ کرد ،
نتیجه جستجوی یک سری ویدیو بود که داشت یکی یکی تیترهاشون رو میخوند ، که یکی از آنها نظرش رو جلب کرد ،
در تیتر نوشته شده بود: « اسرار انجیل »
و در زیرش نوشته شده بود :
« اگر انجیل را نخوانده اید لطفا این ویدئو را نبینید »
مری ویدیو را پخش کرد ، مردی بلند قد که ماسک پزشکی سفیدی بر صورت داشت با دوربین موبایلش داشت از یک مکان سرسبز در پایین یک تپه و در وسط جمعیتی حدود هزار نفر که همه هم مثل خودش ماسک بر صورت داشتند ، فیلم می گرفت ،
مری با خودش گفت فکر کنم ویدیو مال حدود ۱۰ ساله پیشه که یک پاندمی آمده بود است ،
و با دقت به ویدیو خیره شد ،
مرد بلند قد موبایلش را چرخاند و جلوی خودش گرفته و گفت :
من به اینجا آمدهام چون یک استاد دانشگاه در شبکههای اجتماعی مجازی اعلام کرده که یکی از اسرار انجیل را کشف کرده و میخواهد آن را با افرادی که خواهان آن هستند در میان بگذارد ،
و قرار گذاشته که در این ساعت و در این مکان همه دور هم جمع شویم ،
مرد بلند قد یک نگاهی به ساعتش می کند و می گوید الان همان ساعتی است که اعلام کرده و همینطور که داشت صحبت میکرد بالگردی از بالای سرش رد شد و به بالای تپه فرود آمد ،
مرد بلند قد موبایلش را چرخاند و از بالگرد فیلمگرفت ، بالهای بالگرد که ساکن شد ، مردی کوتاه قد و کچل که فقط دور سرش مو داشت با ماسک پزشکی بر صورت و کیفی در دست از بالگرد پایین پرید و به طرف جمع نزدیک شد یکی دو متر بالای جمعیت ایستاد و ازدرون کیفش بلندگویی را درآورد و جلوی صورتش گرفت و به همه درود فرستاد،
و گفت :
من همان محققی هستم که در شبکه های مجازی قرار گذاشتم که هر کس می خواهد از یکی از اسرار انجیل باخبر شود به اینجا بیاید و با لبخند گفت انتظار تعداد بیشتری را داشتم که به اینجا بیایند ،
و با کمی مکث ادامه داد: اینکه چرا این اسرار را در شبکه های مجازی به اشتراک نگذاشتم ، امیدوارم که بعد از این گردهمایی جوابش را بگیرید ،
و با خوشحالی ادامه داد میریم سر اصل مطلب ,
ولی قبل از آن باید این رو بگم :
که من این اسرار را فقط با کسانی به اشتراک میگذارم که انجیل را خوانده باشند ، به غیر از این اگر به اشتراک بگذارم ،
نخست : افرادی که انجیل رو نخواندهاند ، اصلا حرف من را نمی فهمند ،
و دوم اینکه به بیراهه میروند و گمراه میشوند ،
پس من یک دقیقه به افرادی که انجیل را نخواندهاند وقت می دهم که این مکان را ترک کنند ،
مرد بلند قد موبایلش را چرخاند روبروی خودش گرفت و گفت :
خوشبختانه من خواندهام و بعد موبایلش را روی جمعیت گرفته به آرامی چرخاند ،
مردم داشتن یکی یکی آنجا را ترک می کردند و فقط حول و حوش ۳۰۰ و ۴۰۰ نفری باقی ماندند ،
یک دقیقه که تمام شد محقق بلندگو را جلوی دهانش گرفت و گفت :
چون می خواهم این اسرار را رایگان به شما بدهم پس می خواهم بدانم که آیا شما هم از آن رایگان برای کمک به دیگران استفاده خواهید کرد یا نه ؟
و ادامه داد : به همین منظور قبل از آمدنم به اینجا ، به دهکده ای که پشت این تپه است، رفتم ، و بعد از پرس و جو کردن متوجه شدم که سه بیمار در این دهکده وجود دارند و آدرس های خانه شان را گرفتم و با خودم آورده ام ،
و می خواهم بدانم چه کسانی از این جمعیت بعد از شنیدن اسرار انجیل برای کمک به این سه بیمار به دهکده خواهند رفت ؟
هم همه ای ایجاد شد و همه یکپارچه میگفتند :
« میرویم » و « کمک میکنیم »
محقق گفت باشه ، پس هرکس که میخواهد کمک کند ، بلوتوث موبایلش را روشن کند تا آدرسها را برایش بفرستم ،
مرد بلند قد موبایلش را پایین آورد و بلوتوث موبایلش را روشن کرد و بعد از چند ثانیه دوباره آن را بالا گرفت و شروع کرد به فیلم گرفتن ،
محقق بعد از چند مدت با صدای بلند گفت :
آیا همه آدرسها را گرفته اند ؟
جمعیت یکپارچه گفتند :
« بلی » ، « گرفتیم »
و دوباره محقق بلندتر گفت :
آیا کسی هست که نخواهد کمک کند ؟
و این آدرسها را نگرفته باشد ؟
اگر کسی هست لطفاً از جمعیت خارج شود یک دقیقه بهش وقت میدهم ،
مرد بلند قد دوربین موبایل را بر روی جمعیت چرخاند ولی کسی از جمعیت خارج نشد ،
بعد از یک دقیقه محقق گفت :
آخرین باریه که می پرسم ،
آیا تمام کسانی که اینجا هستند آدرسها را گرفتند و میخواهند بروند و کمک کنند ؟
جمعیت همه با هم گفتند :
« بلی » ، « درسته » ، « میرویم »
بعد محقق نگاهی به جمعیت کرد و با جدیت هرچه تمام تر گفت :
« مگر عیسی رفت درب خانه کسی را بزند و بگوید آمدهام تا شفایت دهم »
چندین ثانیه سکوت بزرگی ایجاد شد ،
و همین طور که محقق داشت به جمعیت نگاه میکرد یک نفر از درون جمعیت گفت :
« شاید عیسی وقت نداشت وگرنه میرفت »
بعد محقق رو به فرد کرد و گفت :
« اگر عیسی وقت نداشت ، پس چرا زمانی که با جمعیتی در حال حرکت بود و جمعیت بر او ازدحام داشتند ،
و شخصی بیمار، از پشت سر به او نزدیک شد و لباسش را لمس کرد و دردم آن شخص خوب شد ،
وعیسی برگشت و گفت چه کسی لباس مرا لمس کرد؟ و جستجو کرد تا آن شخص را پیدا کند ،
در صورتی که میتوانست به راهش ادامه دهد و برود »
بازهم سکوتی جمع را فرا گرفت ،
و محقق رو به جمع کرد و گفت :
من این مهم را بعد از چهار بار خواندن انجیل متوجه شدم شما هم به خواندن ادامه دهید خوشحال شدم و امیدوارم هدفم از این گردهمایی را گرفته باشید ،
و بعد از خداحافظی سوار بالگرد شده از آنجا رفت ،
مرد بلند قد موبایلش را چرخاند و به طرف خودش گرفت گفت :
بهتره برم و دوباره انجیل را بخوانم ،
و دوربین موبایل را قطع کرد و ویدیو تمام شد ،
مری با خودش گفت : چه کلیپ جالبی ، و سریع کتاب انجیل را سرچ کرد و شروع کرد به خواندن ،
فضای آرامی در کتابخانه حاکم بود ،
چندین ردیف آنطرفتر بنجامین داشت ویدیویی را که سرچ کرده بود، تماشا میکرد ،
در ویدئو زنی در مدرسه ای در حال صحبت کردن در مورد حقوق حیوانات برای تعدادی بچه بود ،
زن که صورتش را شبیه گربه ها آرایش کرده بود و لباس گربه ای به تن داشت که شبیه لباس دلقک ها بود ،گفت :
میخواهم در مورد نحوه رفتار با گربه ها یک مورد مهم دیگر اضافه کنم و آن این است که اگر مستقیم به یک بچه گربه غذا دهید او یاد می گیرد که وابسته به شما باشد و بر خلاف کودک انسان که روزی مستقل میشود بچه گربه ها این استقلال را به سختی یاد میگیرند و شاید برای همیشه در جهنم آسیبپذیری و ضعف باقی بمانند (۱)
و ادامه داد که حتی در کلینیک های دامپزشکی که گربه ها را برای درمان نگهداری میکنند ، تا زمانی که خوب شوند و درمان شوند ، برای غذا دادن به گربه ها مستقیماً غذا را جلوی آنها نمی گذارند ، بلکه در جایی می گذارند تا گربه ها با بو کشیدن ، خودشان غذا را پیدا کنند و حتی تماس چشمی هم با گربهها برقرار نمیکنند ، تا گربه ها وابسته نشوند،
و بعد بنجامین به صندلی تکیه داد و به فکر فرو رفت ،
کتابخانه خالی شده بود و فقط یکی دو نفر بیشتر باقی نمانده بودند،
آن طرف مری با خوشحالی داشت از درب کتابخانه خارج میشد ، دل توی دلش نبود انگار به جواب سوال دست پیدا کرده بود ،
تند تند داشت قدم برمیداشت که به سالن امتحان رسید، با راهنما که آنجا ایستاده بود صحبت کرد و راهنما اجازه ورود بهش داد و سریع رفت و وارد اتاق امتحان شد ،
نشست روی صندلی ، و مانیتور روشن شد و بعد از خوش آمدگویی و احراز هویت شمارش معکوس آغاز شد بعد از اتمام شمارش معکوس همان سوال روی مانیتور به نمایش در آمد ،
سوال : « اگر شما قدرتی داشتید که میتوانستید همه بیماران را شفا دهید ، آیا از همینجا همه بیماران را شفا می دادید ؟ »

مری با اعتماد به نفس و باخوشحالی گزینه چهارم را انتخاب کرد ،
میکروفونی روی مانیتور نشان داده شد ،
و مری با هیجان شروع کرد به توضیح دادن.
در این ضمن در اتاق بغل بنجامین هم وارد اتاقش شده بود و احراز هویت شده بود و شمارش معکوس به راه افتاده بود ،
همین که تمام شد روی مانیتور همان سوال نشان داده شد ،
سوال : « اگر شما مقداری غذای اضافی داشته باشید ، و در فاصله چند متری از شما گربه ای دارد به دنبال غذا میگردد ، آیا به طرف گربه می روید و به او غذا بدهید ؟ »

بنجامین با دقت و به آرامی گزینه سوم را میزند ،
مانیتور گزینه های بعدی را نشان می دهد :
گزینه چهارم : « بلی غذا را در جایی نزدیک به گربه میریزم تا گربه خودش غذا را پیدا کند و می ایستم تا غذایش را بخورد »
گزینه پنجم : « بلی غذا را در جایی نزدیک به گربه میریزم تا گربه خودش غذا را پیدا کند و اصلاً تماس چشمی با گربه برقرار نمیکنم »
بنجامین با خوشحالی گزینه پنجم را انتخاب میکند ،
مانیتور پس از چند لحظه متن شادباشی را نشان میدهد و قبولی وی را شادباش میگوید ،
و پیامی بعد از شادباش نمایان میشود :
« برای دریافت ربات به سالن انتظارات و باجه دریافت ربات مراجعه فرمایید »
بنجامین با خوشحالی از اتاق خارج و به سمت سالن انتظار میرود ، وارد سالن که میشود ، مری را میبیند که نشسته روی صندلی و رباتی در کنارش ایستاده است ،
به طرف مری میرود و با خوشحالی میگه :
مامان من قبول شدم ،
مری هم با خوشحالی مضاعف او را در بغل می گیره و آفرین می گه بنجامین یک نگاهی به ربات کنار مری میکند و میگه :
مامان مال شماست ،
مری با لبخند میگه :
آره
و دوباره همدیگر را در بغل میگیرن،
مری اشک در چشمانش حلقه میزنه و با خودش میگه: چقدر خوشحال شدم ، بعد اشکاشو پاک میکنه و به بنجامین میگه :
برو به آن باجه دریافت ربات ، که اون گوشه روبرومون هست شمارتو بده و رباتت رو بگیر ، و یک نفر هم میاد بهت آموزش نحوه کار باهاش رو میده ،
بنجامین هم میگه چشم مامان و با سرعت میره به طرف باجه ، همینطور که بنجامین رفت و داشت با راهنما صحبت میکرد ،
مری با خودش گفت :
:
چقدر بزرگ شده ، بهش افتخار میکنم ،
بازم اشک در چشمانش حلقه زد و شروع کرد به پاک کردن اشکهاش ،
همینطور که اشکهاش رو پاک میکرد و به بنجامین خیره شده بود ، امتحانی رو که داده بود ، داشت در ذهنش مرور میکرد ،
و زیر لب گفتم « شفا دادن » ، « محقق » ، « عیسی» ،
بعد یک آن دهنش به حالت تعجب باز ماند ،
با کمی مکث گفت حالا برام روشن شد که چرا «عیسی با مثال با مردم سخن میگفت »
و بعد حالت تعجبش تبدیل به لبخندی میشه و کنار لبش میشینه ،
با خوشحالی از اینکه به این آیه در انجیل پی برده ،
نگاهی به سر تا پای رباتش کرد ،
و همینطور که داشت با خوشحالی نگاش میکرد ، یه دفعه از صدای موبایلش از جا پرید ،
موبایل رو از جیبش در آورد روی مانیتور رو نگاه کرد ، مایکل بود ،
گفت : درود ،
مایکل گفت : درود و ادامه داد امتحان دادید ؟
مری گفت : آره و با خوشحالی ادامه داد، هم من قبول شدم و هم بنجامین ،
مایکل گفت : شادباش میگم ،
مری گفت : سپاسگزارم ،
مایکل گفت :مری سوال چی بود ؟
مری به لته پته افتاد له له له ته ته ته
مایکل گفت : چی ؟
مری گفت : « چی » ، « امتحان » ، « سوال » ،
مری دچار لکنت زبان هم شده بود ،
مایکل حرفاش رو قطع کرد و گفت چی داری میگی ؟
مری صداش رو صاف کرد و گفت :
یک دقیقه گوشی دستت باشه ،
مایکل گفت : باشه ,
مری چند لحظه فکر کرد و یک نفس عمیق کشید و گفت :
مایکل
مایکل گفت : بله
گفت : اگر سوال رو بهت بگم ، بهت ظلم کردم ،
بگذار سوال را در قالب یک داستان بهت بگم تا خودت بهش پی ببری .
